Katchr saves you time. Whether it’s time spent collating spreadsheets that are out of date the moment they are shared with the firm, or time spent trying to get to the data in the first place!
Julie Jewers, former Director at Berwins Solicitors, shared why they needed the Katchr solution, in an interview with our Head of Customer Success, Samantha Holden.

We had all the information that Katchr provides, buried in our system, because you can only produce it if we have the data for it. And the problem we had is that people who don’t like to look for information, were very able to ignore it, because to find that information really involved digging amongst the depths of the case management system. It was very time consuming and very hidden away. And then it was produced in really obscure data spreadsheets.
So for those people who are scared of numbers, there was absolutely no incentive of going anywhere near it. So I used to try and disseminate this information to team managers, but it would take me ages to draw up the reports. And then they would just switch off the minute they saw a spreadsheet coming from me, because it wasn’t their comfort zone.
It saved me time, and it has made the information more meaningful to people. They can see why we’ve been talking about certain figures and they can see how it all relates together.
So, one of the ways… when I was looking at Katchr and we were talking to the board about it, because it’s a capital expense to get it installed in the first place, and one of the things I was very, very keen to stress to the board was, yes, it is an expense, but actually, you will be saving a huge amount of my time, the operations director’s time, the cashier’s time, and some of the team leaders’ time in finding information and sharing it. So, that is time that can be spent actually doing our jobs, which is being lawyers and then bringing in fees.
For me, I thought the expense would very quickly be outweighed by the time saving, and that’s definitely the case.
