SmartEye gets Smarter

Exen Legal Solutions announces the release of three new modules for the SmartEye law firm management information suite. Building on the SmartEye fee earner performance dashboards and business intellience tools, which have now been adopted by 40 mid-sized UK law firms, these new modules extend traditional dashboards into other key areas for law firm management.

The risk and compliance alerts module enables managers and fee earners alike to monitor any potential risks indicated by existing practice and case management data. Typical examples include SAR requirements for the COFA, file monitoring and review for the COLP and performance exceptions for the CEO/Managing partner.

In order to assist firms with both pricing and business development decisions, the second new module provides detailed analysis of client and matter level financial performance, including profitability calculations with work type, geographic location, and funding analysis as standard.

Finally, the ability of SmartEye to fully replace the traditional month-end reports pack has been enhanced with the availability of a new financial reporting module. This includes online P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow statement, enabling this information to be updated regularly and analysed across teams, departments and practice areas.

Graham Moore, Managing Director of Exen comments “The release of these new modules is a further indication of our intention to lead the market in providing fast, effective and simple management information solutions to law firms. We will continue to invest in development of the product to maximise the value we deliver to all our clients, both present and future.”
